Why course fee?

 Everyone will go to pilgrimages like Sabarimala, Tirupati and Vaishnavi Devi and to chardham yatra etc which needs lot of physical and mental efforts and in particular financial efforts. Pujya Gurudeva Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee Mahasaya used to go to Banaras every alternate month from Kolkata in train and that too in a Sleeper class to meet his guru Satyacharan Baba. How much money we spend on our family vacations, everyone would like to go for a vacation at least yearly once or more than that. Are we getting anything for free. Baba told that usually soul seekers come from middle class only. Poor class will always have worries on how to earn their livelihood everyday and rich people always thinks about luxurious life and money. Middle class are only those having the most comfortable family Life, they only can uphold the tenets of Lahiri Mahasaya. Kriyayogam is not like a Next door spirituality to everyone. To attain this deeksha each Kriyaban have to take certain pains because to attain something divine and which is eternal, we have to do sacrifice. Each one of you have to take a little physical, mental and financial stress and only then fruits will be sweet. If u get it like a next door commodity, then the permanence will not be there in kriya practice. Guruji used to say that Kriyaban have to give acid test for taking deeksha. It’s not our decision for asking you all to take Kriyayogam initiations in Pune, it is said by our venerable Guruji and we are just abiding to it. Moreover, in 1868, Yogiraj Sri Lahiri Mahasaya used to take 5/- for giving Deeksha. To normal people it was 5/- and for widows Lahiri Mahasaya used to take 10/- and he never called it as Registration fees or Guru Dakshina but he used to say it as Prayaschitham which means taking our bad Karma. If we double the value of rupee every 10 years then 5/- in 1868 would calculate to something close 6 Lakhs and 66 Thousands as on today
