Faith & Surrender — On the Master or On Our Soul?

**🌺 Faith & Surrender — On the Master or On Our Soul?

The True Inner Understanding**

Faith (Śraddhā) and Surrender (Samarpana) are the two highest vibrations in spiritual life.

But the deepest question is:

Should faith and surrender be placed on a Master…

or should they arise toward our own Soul?

The truth is subtle and powerful:

**Faith begins with the Master,

but Surrender ends in the Soul.**

Let’s understand this step by step:

1. Why Faith Begins with a Master

In the early stages of spiritual growth:

  • The mind is noisy.
  • Emotions are unstable.
  • Ego creates doubt and fear.
  • Inner guidance is faint.

At this stage, it is difficult to trust our own inner voice.

Therefore a living Master becomes the external mirror of our Soul.

The Master shows:

  • what is real
  • what is illusion
  • what is Dharma
  • what blocks us
  • what heals us
  • what liberates us

The Master becomes the first channel of trust, because the mind needs a human reference to learn truth.

This is why scriptures say:

“Guru is the door to the Soul.”

Faith placed on a true Master is actually faith placed on Truth, not on a person.

2. The Master Helps You Recognize Your Own Soul

A real Master never asks you to surrender to him.

He guides you back to your own Atma, your inner divinity.

A Master’s role is simple:

  • Remove your illusions
  • Burn your karmic fog
  • Align your consciousness
  • Open your inner eyes
  • Connect you to your Soul’s intelligence

The Master is an external guide who activates your internal Guru.

So, in reality:

Faith in the Master is a doorway to faith in your own Soul.

3. What Is Real Surrender?

Surrender does not mean obedience.

Surrender does not mean weakness.

Surrender does not mean losing individuality.

True surrender means:

  • Letting go of ego resistance
  • Allowing the Soul to lead
  • Trusting the higher intelligence within
  • Dropping fear, doubt and control
  • Living from inner stillness

When surrender becomes complete, you do not surrender to a Master —

you surrender to the divine within you.

This is the highest form of spirituality.

4. Master vs Soul — What Is the Right Object of Surrender?

It is like a journey:

Stage 1 — Faith in the Master

You trust the Master because he sees what you cannot.

He becomes your compass.

Stage 2 — Faith in the Path

You trust the teachings, the symbols, the kriyas.

You begin to experience transformation.

Stage 3 — Faith in Your Soul

Your inner guidance becomes clear.

The Master steps into the background.

Your Soul stands in the front.

Stage 4 — Surrender to the Inner Light

You realize your Master and your Soul are not different.

Both are forms of one consciousness guiding you.

This is spiritual maturity.

5. The Master’s Grace and the Soul’s Authority

The Master gives:

  • direction
  • clarity
  • protection
  • initiation
  • Shakti

The Soul gives:

  • wisdom
  • intuition
  • destiny
  • liberation

A Master awakens you,

but only the Soul completes your journey.

6. According to LFP Kriya Yoga (Suresh Neelam)

In LFP Kriya Yoga, faith has two levels:

1. Soul Kriya → Faith in Inner Healing

Delta symbols open forgiveness, remembrance, and soul-love.

2. Shiva Shakti Kriya → Surrender to Divine Energy

Theta symbols purify ego patterns and karmic memories.

LFP Kriya Yoga teaches:

The Master opens the path,

but the Soul walks the path,

and the Divine completes the path.

This is the essence of true surrender.

7. The Final Answer (Simple & Clear)

Faith can be placed on the Master.

Because he shows the way.

Surrender must be placed on the Soul.

Because your liberation lies only within.

The Master is the lamp.

The Soul is the flame.

The Divine is the Light.

When you understand this, you understand everything.
